About us

I'm Karina Simón, founder of Mafalda |Tutoring. Based in Tring, Hertfordshire, UK, we offer high-quality online tuition worldwide in humanities, languages, maths, and science. We work with a team of qualified and experienced freelance teachers, dedicated to providing exceptional educational support.

With over 19 years of experience teaching Spanish and French in UK secondary schools, I bring a wealth of expertise to language learning. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I enrich my lessons with deep cultural insights into Latin America, Spain, and French-speaking countries. My academic background includes a Sociology degree from the University of Buenos Aires, a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages from Kingston University, and a Master's in Leadership and Management for Learning from Canterbury Christ Church University.
